Top 5 Tips in Ayurveda to Stay Healthy and Young In Ayurveda, there are some simple tips which when followed can help you stay healthy and young, with no much big effort but through Ayurveda. The following needs to be done in order, soon as you get off the bed in the morning.
Cleaning the face:
One should wash one’s face with water on a regular basis. This helps in cleaning of the dirt accumulated on the face during night and gives freshness thereby which you stay healthy. Preferably cold water needs to be used, but during winter luke-warm water
also may do the trick.
Protecting Eyesight:
After washing the face, one should take a mouthful of water, keep the mouth closed and keeping the eyes open as far as possible, sprinkle freshwater over the eyes. This is very useful for preserving your coveted eyesight. Once this is over, your eyelids should be gently rubbed and a tender massage should be given to the eye balls.
Drink a Glass of Water:
One should also make it a practice to drink a glass of water early in the morning. This helps to tone your excretory system effectively. Although tea is good for antioxidants, its not advisable to have them before evacuation of bowels. Taking tea on bed may develop constipation later on - as it being hot stimulates intestines to such an extent that many layers of intestines get damaged, so watch out!
Cleaning your mouth:
Although you may have several tooth pastes and gargle fluids, for a healthy life Ayurveda suggests usage of twig of neem or babool.
Application of Til Oil:
One who applies til oil on the head regularly, never suffers from complaints such as headaches, baldness or graying of hair - hair remains black and are deep-rooted.
